In a perfect world, I’d agree with this article completely.
Unfortunately, this isn’t a perfect world, and this weeks display of what the Republican party stands for is beyond terrifying. I’ve voted third party in the past, and I hope to again.
But it seems to me that, if Trump gets elected and the Republican party retains its stranglehold on Congress, then anyone who doesn’t fit a very narrow definition of American [rich, white & Christian] is going to be —correctly — in fear of their lives, their livelihood, and and basic rights.

So, as much as we’re once again choosing between lesser and greater evils, and it’s complete bullshit that we’re being pinned to boards with this poison pill. I had hoped to be able to vote my conscience, but in the end, I’m too damn afraid for people I love to indulge it. via Facebook
