Project Pedalboard: Beta version complete. Have one cable I need to replace, but that’s what happens when the multimeter goes awol. Subbed in a 12″ patch in it’s place, and everything is square. Couple of other cable tweaks to make just for neatness’ sake but… 100% Velcro free, low noise, and working great.

Thanks to Justin Hunt for his invaluable assistance in getting more than half the soldering for the pedalboard done. I’m off to do the last few, and then start troubleshooting it.

Well, that was the most horrible noise ever. Something is clearly fighting for its life out back, but it sounds like it’s half mating cat and half small angry dog. I’m betting it’s a fisher tangling with something.

Haven’t had a chance to read it, but the cover of the new issue of Batman ’66 which introduces Harley Quinn to that series, seemed like something Cat and Jess might want to be aware was in the world.

So, Justin got the Nazgûl/Sentient pickups installed in my SG today, and it sounds *AMAZING*. Trem picking is detailed and defined, and there’s so much clarity it’s beyond expectations. These really are the hard rock/metal pickups that Seymour Duncan says they are, and they are just gorgeous from one end of the knob to the the other. The output is high enough to push the preamp really hard, and make the amp sing and scream when and I how I want it to. I don’t think I’ve been this happy with a gear purchase since I got the Blackstar in the first place.
