Steve Dillon’s and Garth Ennis’ “Preacher” of the main reasons I start reading comix again in my mid 20s. The depth of the writing and the art for the series has kept in, what to me has been the Holy Trinity of 90s graphic novels: Preacher, Sandman and Transmetropolitan.
Dillon had a real gift for portraying complex action sequences in a way that made everything flow. He could draw the way John Woo at his best can direct. via Facebook
