Once again, I’m doing that thing where I turn a comment I made on a thread into a status post. And it’s a long one.

When I came back to my high school, for the last several weeks of my senior year, I was the kid who wore red laces in his boots. If you ever run into me somewhere we can talk quietly, and you ask, I’ll tell you about how that came about. But it’s not a pleasant story, so be sure you want to hear it.

What you need to know is that for most of the ensuing 2 and change decades, I’ve worn those red laces as a reminder that in a world with a lot of moral gray territory, a day came when I discovered where the line between the moral gray space and the black is.

Over the years, every now and then, I’d see another set of red laces on a pair of boots. And I’d look at some punk kid in a black hoodie, and that kid’d look at me, and we’d know something about each other. We’d know we’d each found the hill we’d die on, if the day ever came. Because we’d seen the edge of the map, where it was labelled it “Here be Fascists” in a tidy scripthand. Under it, we scrawled “Fuck them.” in big red letters.

The thing that most people don’t understand is that they are not included in the fascist’s deluded vision of the perfect world.
You belong to the wrong church,
or have mixed blood,
or fuck the wrong people,
or have too many children
or not enough.
or it’s fucking Wednesday and the Nazi screw just doesn’t like the look of you.

Because that mentality see the the bottomless well of humanity’s differences as a sewer, and most of humanity as the shit that fills it.

The fascist movement under all its various names, is not rational. You can’t reason with it, especially when the bastards start to mobilize in armed mobs. 70 years of attempted discourse with Nazi-wannabes really should be enough to satisfy even the most mealy mouthed and indecisive on the matter: They aren’t interested in discourse, and no amount of talking will change their minds.

So, let me clear up a few things about the AntiFa.

AntiFa don’t want Nazis dead. We want their movements and belief systems dead, because it’s incompatible with life for everyone else.

So, AntiFa make trouble.

AntiFa make enough trouble so that these bastards lose their platforms.

AntiFa create a big enough shitstorm that the cops can’t ignore it anymore.

AntiFa take the hits and get beaten and stabbed so that those who live in fear don’t have to.

AntiFa stand between Nazi rage and the peaceful counterprotesters.

AntiFa are society’s immune response to Fascist sickness.

I’m AntiFa because as a Thelemite I work to live that “Every man and every Woman is a star.”

I’m AntiFa because Fascism and racialism are diametrically opposed to the lessons of Liber AL: Because Nazism is an ideology rooted in snuffing out those stars and dimming the heavens.

Liber LXXVII : Oz

Man has the right to live by his own law—
to live in the way that he wills to do:
to work as he will:
to play as he will:
to rest as he will:
to die when and how he will.

Man has the right to eat what he will:
to drink what he will:
to dwell where he will:
to move as he will on the face of the earth.

Man has the right to think what he will:
to speak what he will:
to write what he will:
to draw, paint, carve, etch, mould, build as he will:
to dress as he will.

Man has the right to love as he will:—
“take your fill and will of love as ye will,
when, where, and with whom ye will.” —AL. I. 51.

Man has the right to kill those who would thwart
these rights.
